Green Breakfast Smoothie

A breakfast replacement or addition that is full of satisfying and detoxifying ingredients.

The avocado makes the texture of this smoothie, so do not skip it! It might take a few times trying it before your palate adjusts to the natural sweetness of the vegetables, so give this one a few tries if at first you are not sure you like it.
Green Breakfast Smoothie
PREP TIME: 10 minutes
BLEND TIME: 2-3 minutes
MAKES: 1 serving
Note: I like to prepare the vegetables in batches and save in a quart sized mason jar so I have 4-5 servings at a time. This makes it easy to pop in the blender and be ready to go in 5 minutes as you get ready for work.
INGREDIENTS | DIRECTIONS |
1/3 cup coconut milk or cream OR 1-2 tbs coconut oil |

1-2 celery stalks | 2. Blend the ingredients until smooth. |
1/2 cucumber | 3. Pour and enjoy! |
1 cup spinach or other mild green | |
2 carrots | |
1/2 avocado | |
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I recommend hydrolyzed beef) | |
pinch of sea salt | |
